Pretoria: 20 to 24 May 2013
The OpenSIM initiative are pleased to announce an intermediate OpenFOAM® workshop in Pretoria from 20 to 24 May 2013:
OpenFOAM® is an open source finite volume tool set which is extensively used for numerical flow modelling. The course is aimed at providing an introduction to the use of the OpenFOAM® finite volume tool set for developing customised solvers. The course consists of technical presentations in the mornings, followed by a practical workshops in the afternoons.
Please bring your own laptop with Linux and OpenFoam® installed. Please note as this is not a user workshop and it is expected that attendees should be able to set up and run test cases as described in the user manual.
The course will be limited to 10 people. Positions will be reserved on first come first served basis.
