====== Running ncview ======
Ncview, a visual browser for netCDF format files, has been installed on the cluster.  Set up a suitable environment with ''module load chpc/earth/ncview/2.1.7-gcc''.  Please refer to the [[http://meteora.ucsd.edu/~pierce/ncview_home_page.html|ncview home page]] for more information.  For interactive graphics, a graphics-enabled environment will be required, therefore refer to the page on [[howto:remote_viz|Remote Visualization]] for instructions on setting up a connection to the visualization node, and running vnc with the VirtualGL wrapper.
