CFD at the CHPC
CFD users at CHPC should contact Charles Crosby or Sam Mathekga for CFD-related questions. The following codes are actively supported:
- OpenFOAM versions from version 2.4.0 onwards
- There is limited support for the SU2 computational aerodynamics code
- Ansys Icem-CFD
- There is limited support for MFIX
- There is also limited support for the ESI suite of CFD programs
- The Fire Dynamics Simulator FDS
Additional codes
Please get in touch if you are interested in getting other codes operational at CHPC. We are also looking at the following open source codes, and would appreciate feedback on whether or not there is any interest in them:
- Code Saturne
- Engrid
Commercial work
